He said that the concept of equal standing before the law, which is foundational in the United States, does not apply in the same way under Sharia. Self focused in particular on courtroom procedures and the weight given to testimony. In addition to courtroom standards, Self addressed marriage laws. He outlined what he described as differing rights between Muslim men and women when it comes to marrying outside the faith.

Police said no evidence of targeted racist attack against sociology professor Onwubiko Agozino. A police department in Virginia has cleared several White juveniles of hate crime allegations after a Black Virginia Tech University professor filed a criminal complaint, which was amplified by a local chapter of a far-left nationwide nonprofit. Dr. Onwubiko Agozino is a professor of sociology at the university, and describes himself as a "scholar-activist who values inclusive excellence and diversity with critical attention focused on people of African descent and other marginalized groups around the world" who "emphasizes race, class, and gender issues in his contributions to learning, discovery, and community engagement beyond the boundaries of the classroom."

Ex-Prince Andrew not charged after arrest, released while under investigation

The former prince was pictured returning to Sandringham in Norfolk on Thursday. Investigations are continuing on Friday after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor -- formerly known as Prince Andrew and the younger brother of King Charles III -- was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office and released under investigation. Police confirmed that searches being conducted in Norfolk have now concluded, while searches in Berkshire remain underway and that Mountbatten-Windsor has not been charged. The former prince was pictured returning to Sandringham in Norfolk on Thursday night.

TN bill would allow death penalty for women who have an abortion

Tennessee has some of the strictest anti-abortion laws in the country. The Human Life Protection Act prohibits all abortions from fertilization, without exceptions for rape or incest. Two Tennessee Republicans are seeking to impose the death penalty on women who have abortions, requiring the same penalties for women “involved in the homicide of her own unborn child” as defendants charged with homicide.

Teacher Who Identifies as Trans Wolf 'Lilith Deathhowl' Was Fired. A group of military families at Fort Bragg is expressing deep concern about a teacher at their children's school who identifies as a transgender wolf. One mother said her daughter expressed fear, saying, "Mommy, I'm scared he's going to come eat me," referring to statements the teacher made about turning into a wolf at night. Another child reportedly said, "Mommy, Ms. Roxxie says he was born in a male's body, but he's actually a woman, but he likes boys!"

"Mr. Neufeld invoked negative and insidious stereotypes about LGBTQ people, especially trans people, which denied their inherent dignity and, in some cases, reflected the hallmarks of hate against them as a group," the tribunal said in a decision Wednesday. Neufeld was one of the "loudest critics" against the B.C. government's move in 2017 directing school boards to update codes of conduct to address bullying based on "SOGI," or sexual orientation and gender identity, according to the tribunal’s decision.

Calif judge orders Rady Children’s Hospital to provide child sex changes

Judge Matthew Braner ruled last week that the hospital must continue to offer transgender procedures, including things such as puberty-blockers and other hormone treatments, to patients under 19. The hospital had previously announced in January that it would stop offering the procedures. This prompted the California Attorney General’s Office to sue, arguing that ending these procedures violated state law.

“Supreme Court precedent is clear: parents have the right to direct the religious upbringing of their children, which includes exempting them from ideological instruction which conflicts with their families’ sincerely held religious beliefs.” The Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division has opened investigations into three Michigan public school districts to determine whether they are teaching lessons that include sexual orientation and gender identity-related content, and, if so, whether parents were told they could opt their children out. The districts under review are the Detroit Public Schools Community District, Godfrey-Lee Public Schools, and the Lansing School District, which the department collectively described as the “Michigan School Districts.” The inquiries will focus on instruction in grades pre-K through 12, according to the department’s announcement.

The self-described “revolutionary organization” has taken a leading role in disrupting federal immigration enforcement in Los Angeles, and its collaborators were a driving force behind California’s controversial ethnic-studies curriculum. Now UdB is again turning its attention to California’s education system. Members of UdB and its offshoot, the Association of Raza Educators, are running for leadership roles within United Teachers Los Angeles. If elected, these activists could further inject their radical politics into an already-struggling school system that hardly needs more leftism.

Gavin Newsom stepped into the fight over age limits on social media Thursday, saying he wants state legislation that would restrict access to the powerful online platforms for teens under 16. In a policy position shared first with POLITICO, Newsom spokesperson Tara Gallegos said that the Democratic governor supports passing age-gating rules inspired by those Australia began enforcing last year, which bar teens under 16 from having social media accounts. Her comments came minutes after Newsom told reporters that “we have to address this issue” of teenagers’ chronic use of social media.

Montreal hair salon ordered to pay non-binary customer $500

...after booking form had only 'male' and 'female' haircut options. A Montreal hair salon has been ordered to pay $500 to a person who identifies as non-binary after the customer claimed that their booking system was discriminatory. The processing system only allowed for the individual to get a men's or women's haircut. Alexe Frédéric Migneault, who identifies as non-binary, was asked in an email to select either male or female when in the process of arranging for a haircut in 2023. The salon, Station 10, charges by the minute, and since women’s hair appointments tend to take longer for them, it was part of their processing system, per CTV.

They say they are being “punished”, even. Pure “evil”, they say. This is what happens when you FA, kids. You FO. A new poll confirms growing public skepticism of these practices—even “when deemed medically necessary.” Transgender issues have become a serious liability for Democrats, according to a new poll by the Substack-based, left-leaning publication The Argument. The poll, which surveyed 3,003 registered voters nationally between February 4 and 10, asked about hot-button policy questions related to gender self-identification, including access to bathrooms, participation in sports teams, teaching gender identity in schools, and the use of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries on minors. In all those cases, a majority opposed the policies favored by the progressive faction of the Democratic Party. The only area in which a majority supported trans policies was protection from discrimination in housing and employment.

There has been another deadly shooting by a trans-identified male, this time in Rhode Island, resulting in three deaths, including the gunman. Less than a week earlier, nine people were killed in Canada by a male shooter who identified as female. The perpetrators shot at family members and strangers in cold blood before taking their own lives. These incidents follow a disturbing pattern of shooters that includes Audrey Hale in Nashville in 2023, Robert/Robin Westman in Minneapolis in 2025, the alleged shooter of Charlie Kirk in Utah, Tyler James Robinson, who reportedly had a trans/furry partner, and so many others in recent years. Trans activists and their supporters insist on denying this pattern of violence, but reality is increasingly difficult to ignore.

Amelia was intended to be a bigoted character in a UK educational game. Instead, she has become a populist icon for ordinary people who are fed up with the globalist multicultural agenda. Now across the channel in Britain, the Yoo-Kay (U.K.) Home Office funded a Pathways animation video game that featured a cartoon character named “Amelia” to serve as an anti-immigration foil. The player in this game, referred to by the gender binary name “Charlie,” must navigate through sequential chapters which provide instruction on avoiding trouble from “extremism,” specifically by refusing to associate with those for whom the game prompts individuals to take offense. Amelia is presented as a Goth chick with violet hair, clad in a pink dress and sporting an indigo choker. To the Home Office, Amelia is emblematic of someone they want the game’s players to stay away from due to her extreme views on immigration, which they consider to be deeply problematic. However, Pathways neglected to consider in their depiction that Amelia is both young and cute, and at the same time shows attitude towards her betters in attempting to defend her nation.

Organized VA High School Students Plan More Anti-Protests

Over 300 Virginia high school students in one district were suspended this week after they walked off campus. All because they were blindly protesting ICE. There have been quite a number of student protests around the country in the last week or so. All of them are protesting ICE arrests. But if you ask any of the students about WHY they are protesting ICE, all they can do sadly is parrot the liberal talking points. I’d bet if you ask any student, too many don’t realize they are protesting against the arrest of child rapists, thieves, murderers, drug traffickers and more.
